Membership in CFC-AHDI definitely has its privileges!

BOD Meetings
Board of Director meetings are held on the 1st Monday of each month. These meetings are held at the Medware buidling in Maitland and are open to the general membership.

Monthly Meetings
Chapter meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Informative presentations on various topics are given each month by quality speakers. Keep current on issues facing our profession while enjoying fellowship with other MTs and networking with healthcare professionals in our area. Refreshments are always provided.

Our meetings are usually held at the Florida Hospital Altamonte Resource Center in Altamonte Springs (next to Dunkin Donuts). map

Symposiums and Conferences
Opportunities for personal skills development are available through our seasonal symposiums, FAHDI conferences and AHDI annual conferences.

Networking and Mentoring
New and exciting career opportunities are just around the corner! We all know that the best jobs are usually found by word of mouth. Expand your knowledge base and your circle of friends at our meetings and workshops. Allow fellow professionals to inspire you to become a better MT.

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

  • Practitioner ($15) Any individual whose primary employment is the transcription of medical reports.
  • Institutional ($15) Any healthcare delivery or educational institution which employs or trains medical transcriptionists.
  • Corporate ($25) Any company or manufacturer providing services or products to the field of medical transcription.
  • Student ($8) Any individual currently enrolled in a medical transcription program is eligible for student membership for up to 2 years.
  • Non-AHDI Member ($25) Individuals who are not current members of the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity. For more information, go to ahdionline.org/ScriptContent/membership_category.cfm.
